Kolmar student council’s newest project has brightened the walls and warmed the hearts of the school. By the main entrance of the school the student council has created a “tree of thanks.” The tree is covered with hundreds of leaves- each leaf with a handwritten message from every student in the building, and some staff! Students and staff wrote the name of someone in the building they are thankful for and why. It is a great way to put a smile on everyone's face. The tree of thanks is also located directly across from Kolmar’s food drive table. As we are entering the holiday season the students at Kolmar are keeping in their hearts what is important, giving back to others, whether that be with a kind word or a donation.
