Last Friday was a beautiful day to celebrate and remember a beautiful girl, Abby Wujcik! Kolmar students and staff participated in the 2022 Live Like Abby Walkathon and it was such a wonderful day. Abby Wujcik was just 8 years old and a student at Kolmar when she passed away from a pediatric brain tumor. Each year students at Kolmar and Oak Lawn Hometown Middle School participate in a walkathon to raise money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. The day is spent walking outside, dancing, stopping at different stations for beads, bubbles, and tattoos as well as different games and activities. To top it all off, this year the LLA walkathon raised over $30,000! Thank you to all who participated and donated!
