Kolmar 4th and 5th grade teachers, Ms. Jean and Ms. Sullivan had quite the exciting classrooms on our most recent half day. Both classrooms had glow in the dark parties! The rooms were dark except for the glow of the students’ and teachers’ neon clothes and the many neon decorations throughout the room! They did lots of fun activities throughout the day that were all glow in the dark! Some of the activities included highlighter math games, shaving cream sight words, Jenga reading, and glow stick ring toss. One of Ms. Sullivan’s students said “My favorite part was doing the putty for the STEM activity.” Every student had huge smiles on their faces and are still talking about how cool it was! The teachers all really enjoyed this fun and different day as well!
