The 5th grade teachers at Kolmar could not be prouder of their students' hard work and dedication when it came to their historian presentations this year. Students got to choose a famous historical figure to research and do their project on. They gained awesome researching skills and practiced taking notes. The project included a five paragraph paper about their historical figure, including important things about their life and finding lots of fun facts! Then for the fun part! They created a poster about their person and gave a presentation about their life. Many students even dressed up as their historical figures, which made it even more exciting! The younger students absolutely loved going around and listening to the presentations and the 5th graders proved to be extremely knowledgeable about their historical figures. Even better, the 5th graders themselves loved completing this project! This was a big project and the students knocked it out of the park (quite literally for the student dressed as Babe Ruth!)
