Kolmar 1st graders were hard at work this week setting goals for the new year. They discussed what a goal is and different ways to achieve their goals. They then brainstormed some ideas with their teacher and with a partner. When developing their goals they focused on something they want to work towards in their friendships, at home, and something new they wanted to learn in 2022. Some examples of the goals they set are: to play a game someone else suggests, to eat dinner all together with their family, to make their bed everyday, to ride a bike without training wheels, to try rollerblading, and to read more books! These students are really learning how to put their mind to something, work hard, and accomplish it without giving up! Nothing can stop these future leaders!
