First Grade had a magical field trip at the Museum of Science and Industry
The first graders got to see many exhibits on their field trip to the Museum of Science and Industry, Some of these exhibits included Earth Revealed, Yesterday’s Main Street and YOU, the Experience. The first two exhibits were related to what students have been learning in Science and Social Studies; the relationship between the sun and the Earth, and different types of communities. YOU, the Experience, was related to the first graders’ CKLA unit where they learned about the human body systems. At the museum, students got to see models of their body systems and even got to see a projection of their own hearts beating in real time! The first graders had an amazing time at MSI!
