In Ms. Scheffler’s first-grade class, the students were so excited to wrap up their CKLA unit on the human body with a fun skeleton craft. After learning about the various bones and their functions, each child grabbed their glue bottles, some Q-Tips and began creating! With both a lot of enthusiasm and even more creativity, students carefully placed their “bone shapes” on their page in order to assemble their own skeletons. Students thought it was so funny as they built their skeleton from the skull to the ribcage. The students shared interesting facts they had learned, proudly displaying their finished projects. This hands-on activity not only reinforced their knowledge of anatomy but also allowed their imaginations to shine! What a fun culminating activity!
