Students in P.E. were very excited to see who would be the first "Hometown Olympian of the Month." Every month the students accumulate stingers throughout the month. They put them in an envelope and at the end of the month, P.E. teachers Mr. Dare and Mr. Lagioia pull a name and that lucky student is the "Olympian of the Month." The winner receives a trophy and gets their picture taken to be displayed in the gym. But the most exciting part of being the winner....they get to choose the game for the day. Students are so excited to see who the winner is and get so excited when they are chosen. Being kind, being respectful and being safe make for wonderful Olympians.
