Students were able to pick out books during our annual book fair. This student is a fan of graphic novels.
Margret Fuller once said, "Today a reader, tomorrow a leader!" Hometown school recently hosted their annual fall Scholastic Book Fair, and, once again, it was a HUGE success. Children were given the opportunity to come shop during the school day, but also with their families during the family game night hosted by the PTA. Students found books from Pete the Cat to Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and everything in between! When asked, one student replied, "Book fair is the best because I get to choose any book I want!! I even bought a book for my baby brother!" This year, teachers who are members of the PTA also received a gift from the PTA to choose books for their classrooms. Filling hearts and classroom libraries, this event was a great way to kick off the year.
