On November 10, 2021, Hometown Elementary invited our local Veterans to attend our annual Veterans Day assembly. All of the grade levels participated in the event. While the students watched the live stream from their classrooms, the guests were entertained by the kindergarten class singing a Veteran song, poems read by various grade levels, and Taps was performed by a local Veteran. Our second graders also presented America's White Table. This table is set for the soldier who will never return home. A big thank you to our Hometown community for attending this celebration. This assembly brought our school and community closer together. Hometown school salutes all Veterans near and far. Thank you for your service.
