Kindergarten "centenarians " on the 100th day of school
In 100 days, students have spent countless hours mastering new skills, solving problems, and expanding their knowledge. Whether it's learning to read, improving math skills, or diving into science experiments, the first 100 days are filled with opportunities to build a strong foundation for the rest of the school year.
For younger students, this milestone is a celebration of how much they've learned since the beginning of the year. From counting to 100 to writing full sentences, they've developed skills that seemed daunting just a few months ago.
A closer look at the first 100 days reveals just how much time students have spent learning and growing. Based on a typical six-hour school day, students have spent approximately 600 hours in the classroom. That's 600 hours of reading, writing, problem-solving, and engaging discussions.
While we enjoy seeing our "centenarians" today, 100 days of school represent tangible learning that we celebrate and applaud in the Cave. Keep it up Bears!!!
