Friendly competition during the PBIS Boot Camp last week.
As students returned from winter break last week, Mrs. Doornbos and Mrs. Reynolds kicked off a PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Boot Camp for kindergarten through fifth-grade students. The focus? Reinforcing the core values of being respectful, responsible, and safe in all areas of school.The boot camp offered a fun, interactive way for students to refresh their understanding of school expectations. It is about starting the year strong and having students feel confident in their ability to make good choices. When students understand expectations, it creates a positive environment where everyone can thrive. The goal was for the PBIS Boot Camp to set the tone for a second half of the school year, leaving students inspired and ready to embrace respectful, responsible, and safe behavior.
