Welcoming our newest Kindergarten Bears and Families!
The first full week at Hannum School has been a significant milestone for our 'Baby Bears' or Kindergarten students. It was heartwarming to see how they embraced this new journey. They walked in with bravery and excitement on their first day, marking the beginning of their educational adventure.
Transitioning from a preschool setting to a full school environment can be challenging. However, our little bears faced this challenge head-on, showcasing their adaptibility.
For many of them, having lunch alone for the first time was a big deal! They quickly discovered the importance of finishing their meals promptly and cleaning up before going outside for recess.
Throughout the week, our kindergarteners engaged in enriching activities, including storytime with beloved books like "No, David!" and "Chrysanthemum." These stories entertained but also included valuable lessons.
We are incredibly proud of how well our kindergarteners navigated their first week at Hannum School. Here's to many more weeks of growth, exploration, and fun!!
