Hannum staff celebrates the retirement of Ms. Joy Kipp-school secretary for 21 years
Ms. Kipp, with her infectious smile and positive attitude, has been an integral part of the Hannum school community for the past 21 years. Her dedication and contributions have made a significant impact on the daily operations of the school, and her presence is cherished by both staff and students.
Throughout her tenure at Hannum, Ms. Kipp had had the opportunity to work with four different principals (Bopp, Grice, McGovern, & Doornbos). Her adaptability and willingness to support each administration's vision have made her an invaluable asset to the school. She has been a constant during times of transition and change.
Prior to joining Hannum, Ms. Kipp worked at McGugan school and also volunteered at Hannum as a parent while her sons attended the school. This firsthand experience as a parent has given her a unique perspective and understanding of the needs of both students and parents. Her empathy and compassion for others have made her beloved by the Hannum community.
Beyond her administrative duties, Ms. Kipp brings "JOY" and positivity to the school environment. She has a remarkable ability to brigthten someone's day with her kind words and genuine interest in their well-being. There are not enough words to express what Ms. Joy Kipp means to all of us but we all wanted to send her off with this last week that was especially dedicated to her-"Choose Joy".
