Hannum families were invited to Leap Into Math and PE this past Wednesday evening. The idea was to incorporate math with some movement from our PE experts, Mr. Lazzorotto and Mr. Fanjoy. Mr. Strickland was stationed at the Leap Frog station where students took a frog and made it hop. Then, they counted how many feet their frog jumped and had to graph the results. Mrs. Paluch did a skip counting game and Mrs. Burns had multiplication color by numbers activity. Our PE teachers combined math fluency and fitness. Mrs. Doornbos documented the event at the Photo Booth where friends and families could have some fun taking pictures together. With close to 100 people in attendance, we'd say this math night was a Leaping Success!!!
