As the end of the trimester approches, students and staff like to take time to reflect. Teachers want to celebrate all of the successes and accomplishments students had in first trimester. That is exactly what the PBIS celebration is for! Last Friday, students mixed with other classrooms and grade levels to complete various activities. Kindergarteners mixed with third grade, first graders mixed with fourth grade, and second graders mixed with fifth grade. Students read to one another, completed directed drawing activites, interviewed each other, and painted and colored. The younger students look up to the older kids and they enjoyed every moment of the celebration and the older students loved taking on the role of leaders. It was a great day for everyone and a perfect way to celebrate the end of the trimester!
