Creatures are taking over the third grade classrooms! Mrs. Fitzgibbon’s, Mrs. Zweig’s, and Mrs. Paluch’s third graders class are taking on the role of wildlife biologist to help them better understand the traits of Wolf 44. After learning about inheritance, students were challenged with making clay creatures. Using the parent creature's traits, students created creatures out of clay. No two creatures were alike! Third graders discussed similarities and differences among the creatures. It was a great lesson that allowed students to take on the role of real life scientists. Like scientists, students are working together to solve real world problems.
