On Wednesday, April 6, families joined us at Hannum Elementary for our art and science night. Various stations were set up around the gym including making lava lamps, painting a mad scientist, using rubberbands and geoboards to create constellations, creating a forest food chain, and painting a mural titled "A Hannum Starry Night," which was based off of Vincent van Goghs "A Starry Night." When students completed three of the stations, they were rewarded with a rainbow, bear paw dog tag! The night was clear evidence that there are many scientists and artists among the students at Hannum. This night was another opportunity for our families, students, and staff to engage together in the excitement of science and art for enjoyment.
