As much as we love celebrating the accomplishments of our students, we also love celebrating the accomplishments of our Hannum teachers and staff. Ms. Yuu Suehiro, a math support teacher, was celebrated this past Thursday for officially becoming a United States citizen. Ms. Suehiro moved from Japan to the United States in 4th grade and has been working for many years to become a U.S. citizen. She was officially sworn in on April 6, 2022. The next day we celebrated by decorating the staff lounge with red, white, and blue and making America themed desserts. Students made her cards to congratulate her and applauded her as she entered the classroom. It was a wonderful day! Congratulations Ms. Suehiro, here’s to the red, white, and Yuu!
