How can you be a bucket filler? That's a question Mrs. McGovern has been asking the students of Hannum Elementary. For the past month, Mrs. McGovern has been visiting classrooms to teach a lesson on the many ways the students can help fill someone's bucket. Students were beyond excited to do an activity with the principal! After completing the lesson, Mrs. McGovern had students write messages to their teachers. When teachers returned to the classroom, they were surprised with a small poster filled with sweet and kind words from the students! Messages included thanking teachers for help in the classroom and letting teachers know that they are the best. It truly filled everyone's bucket! Mrs. McGovern commented,"It was really fun! These students really love their teachers!" She truly puts the "pal" in principal!
