This year marked a special milestone for our school district, as D123 celebrated 123 years of service and what better way to honor this achievement than on the 123rd day of school! Students and staff came together for a fun-filled day of creativity, laughter, and appreciation for our district’s long history.
To make the day even more memorable, students and teachers dressed up as if they were 123 years old! The hallways were filled with "elderly" scholars sporting gray wigs, canes, oversized glasses, and vintage attire. From slow walks to playful complaints about "the good old days," everyone embraced the theme with enthusiasm and humor.
Beyond the fun costumes, the day also served as a time for reflection on the district’s incredible journey over the past 123 years.
