On Monday, students, teachers, and community members gathered in the school gymnasium for a special Veterans Day assembly to honor the bravery, courage, and dedication of our nation’s veterans. The event was an inspiring tribute to those who have served, with a heartfelt program that brought together students, families, and local veterans.
The assembly featured powerful student-led presentations, with third, fourth, and fifth graders sharing essays they wrote to express their admiration and gratitude for veterans. In their essays, the students shared touching reflections on the sacrifices made by veterans, highlighting their courage and the freedoms their service has secured.
As part of the tribute, a moving slideshow honored veterans from our school families and community. The slideshow, which showcased photos and names of veterans related to our students and staff, was a beautiful reminder of the personal connections many of us share with those who served.
