This past week, our school came together to celebrate Unity Week, a time dedicated to promoting inclusivity, kindness, and support among students. The activities not only highlighted the importance of unity but also focused on creating a safe, bully-free environment for everyone.
Throughout the week, students engaged in theme days such as wearing your favorite sport team to show how together we are a team! these spirit days are designed to empower one another. On Thursday, one of the highlights was the creation of a "Kindness Linking Chain." Each student wrote down an act of kindness they could perform on orange strips of paper, which were then linked together to form a chain. This powerful visual representation served as a constant reminder of our commitment to fostering a supportive community.
Our day ended with a UNITY dance party that filled our classrooms with laughter and joy. It was a week filled with uplifting activities as we came together to show our support to stop bullying!
