The second graders had a fantastic time celebrating the end of their Fairy Tale and Tall Tale unit with a special dress-up day, complete with popcorn and a movie! After weeks of exploring enchanting stories, learning about brave heroes, clever tricksters, and mystical creatures, the students got to bring these tales to life by dressing up as their favorite characters.
The excitement was in the air as students arrived at school dressed as princesses, knights, giants, and even talking animals! From Snow White to Paul Bunyan, the classroom was filled with imaginative costumes.
The highlight of the day was a special movie showing of Beauty and the Beast, a beloved fairy tale about love, courage, and inner beauty. With popcorn in hand, the students sat together to enjoy the magical adventure, singing along to familiar songs and cheering for their favorite moments. It was the perfect way to bring their fairy tale studies to a close!
