Covington Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

This Monday, we kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month in style by proudly showcasing our vibrant Hispanic attire. Students and staff came dressed in traditional clothing that represents the rich cultures of Hispanic and Latino countries. From Mexico's colorful embroidered dresses and sombreros to the bright, intricate patterns of Ecuador and Colombia, the school was a celebration of diversity and cultural pride. It was a beautiful sight to see everyone embracing the spirit of the occasion, honoring the history, traditions, and influence of Hispanic heritage.

But the celebration doesn’t stop there! For the entire month, we will be paying tribute to the incredible contributions of Hispanic people from around the world. Every day, we will honor a different famous Hispanic figure—highlighting their achievements, their impact on history, and how their work continues to inspire us today.

We are excited to continue learning, celebrating, and embracing Hispanic heritage throughout the month. The festivities will go on until October 15th, and we encourage everyone to participate in daily activities, learn about new historical figures, and proudly share their own stories and connections to Hispanic culture.
