Students were thrilled by a captivating storm chaser assembly held Thursday morning. The presenter delivered an exciting presentation, sharing his experiences tracking some of the most powerful storms.
The highlight of the assembly was a gripping video of a tornado in Oklahoma, which held the audience spellbound. The presenter explained the science behind such storms, making complex meteorological concepts accessible. He also showed how storm chasers use technology like Doppler radar to predict and track severe weather, emphasizing the importance of safety and preparedness.
Students were so engaged throughout the assembly and they even got to a witness a storm cloud being made!
The storm chaser assembly not only provided a break from routine but also sparked an interest in meteorology among students, leaving them inspired and more knowledgeable about the wonders of severe weather.
