Covington Elementary has started a collection for the greater good of collecting Poptabs. These small tabs will help make a huge difference in our community!
Our first RMH Donation Pop Top drop off was a huge success! 27lbs of pop tops have been collected so far!
You may wonder, what difference can these small, seemingly insignificant tabs make? The answer lies in the power of collective effort. Poptabs, when amassed in large quantities, can be recycled for their aluminum content. The proceeds from recycling are then funneled back into supporting the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) programs, which provide vital resources and services to families with critically ill children.
In addition to collecting poptabs, our school community has also embraced the concept of fulfilling the wishlist of the Ronald McDonald House. This wishlist comprises essential items that directly contribute to the well-being and comfort of the families residing in these houses. From household supplies to children’s toys, each item serves as a beacon of hope and support for those navigating difficult times.
