Oak Lawn Fire Department spent time with students on Tuesday educating them on the importance of fire safety. Students were able to see the firefighters dress up in their full gear, so they know what to expect if there is ever an emergency. Firefighters took the time to address the importance of knowing when to dial 911 and made sure students knew how a smoke detector could save a life. Students were also allowed to ask questions to firefighters!
Thank you to the OLFD and to Ms. SooHoo for taking the time to plan Fire Safety Week! We learned about how to stay safe and prevent fires. We are grateful for your commitments and teachings!
