Fifth graders traveled back in time on their recent field trip to Naper Settlement. Naper Settlement is an outdoor history museum that offers intreactive exhibits. Students witnessed a demonstration of forging iron in the Blacksmith Shop, a one room school house where students got to witness how learning was like in the 1850s. Students enjoyed being able to fully immerse themselves in the history this trip offered.
