Kind words to Grade 5 student
At District 123 and Covington we like to show kindness 365 days a year. Mr. Wawczak posts about amazing shirts he sees throughout the school that have uplifting messages, teachers will post positive post-it notes on student's desks, positive phone calls home, and so much more.
What we love to see is students building up each other. This is exactly what Ms. Ricker and her Grade 5 students did. Each week, a student gets to sit at the board and each classmate gets to write one positive thing about each other. This promotes student relationships, builds a classroom environment, and also allows each student to feel AWESOME about themselves.
Way to go Ms. Rickers class and everyone who shows kindness every single day.
