Welcome! We are really excited about the 2016-2017 school year!

The Sward PTA holds meetings once a month where you can hear updates on programs we are running for EVERY CHILD at Sward. You can find out about events and information from our Principal, Mrs. Gloodt. You can even hear a presentation from our dedicated staff about things the classes are learning, whether it be a new math program, technology such as Scootpad, or how they figured out your child’s Lexile score and what you can do with that number.

Our Executive Committee for this school year:

  • Teresa Kuszak – President
  • Amy Enderle – 1st Vice President
  • Michael Plude – 2nd Vice President
  • Kim Borgman – Treasurer
  • Nicole Loschiavo – Secretary

You won’t find a harder working team anywhere else!

We have many programs and activities planned for your children this year and we would LOVE your help with making them happen. By the way, helping doesn’t mean you have to be the chairman. Some programs just need help clipping box tops at home. Some need help putting up decorations after school. Whatever your commitment level might be, we would love to have you join us.

We have a Facebook page that you can follow and get information about the things we do, such as Sward Dinners Out, which are fundraisers at local restaurants such as Potbelly’s and Chipotle. You can find us there at Sward PTA for this and lots of other information.

The PTA’s mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. That is why we do what we do.

This year’s meeting schedule:

  • September 7
  • October 5
  • November 2
  • December 7
  • January 11
  • February 8
  • March 8
  • April 5
  • May 17

Our meetings are at 6:30 pm and are generally held in the teacher’s lounge at Sward. We hope to see you there!
