During Red Ribbon Week Sward students celebrated Unity Day with a fun assembly. Decked out in their orange students filled the gym to witness the Super University Kindness Challenge. A fun, interactive assembly hosted by Chris – who taught the kids the importance of being kind through fun games.

“The challenges are all designed to illustrate important character education lessons and to help remind students of the PBIS (positive behavior) and no bullying expectations of the school. The fast-paced format and a hilarious show host ensure that all grade levels are entertained and the students never feel like they are being ‘lectured’ to,” said Chris, the creator of Super University.

But that wasn’t all, following the assembly Sward Parent and musician, Gincy Hartin performed a special song that he wrote for Unity Day entitled “It’s Cool to be Kind”.
