District 123’s Parent University Program offers a unique opportunity for families to come together and discuss a variety of hot topics that impact their student’s school day. The most recent “University” offered round table discussions about a variety of topics in schools from safety and head injuries to the importance of teaching handwriting in the classroom.
Parents were able to pick two roundtables to be a part of with a member of the District 123 staff. Providing a personal experience for them to bring any questions or concerns they may about the way the district handles certain topics.
“Coming out to the Parent University gave me a bit more insight into the way District 123 is doing things and preparing our students for the future, I was able to ask questions and get great answers,” said Mike Rummery – District 123 Parent.
