On Saturday, January 30, 2021, Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School will be hosting the annual Feed 6 Meal Packaging Event. Students, teachers, and the District 123 community will come together to package fortified meals to be delivered to local food pantries. The four-hour event will take place in the OLHMS gymnasium participants can sign up for a two-hour session here.
All participants must raise a minimum of $30 to help cover the costs of the food, materials, and delivery. After the event, sponsors will sign community service paperwork for any participants.
All of the packaged meals will be delivered to local food pantries, food banks, Veteran shelters, and various organizations in need of donations. If you cannot make the event but would still like to donate you can do so here. Donations are due December 22, 2020.
