District invites community to take 2018 strategic planning survey

The Oak Lawn-Hometown District Board of Education is inviting all members of the learning community to take part in the 2018 Strategic Planning Community Survey. The survey takes only 5 minutes and offers members of the community the opportunity to share their aspirations for all District 123 schools and students.

The survey is open to all community members including those that do not have children enrolled within the district. The survey is anonymous and seeks to gather a range of perspectives from all District 123 stakeholders.

“We are looking forward to updating the current District 123 Strategic Plan. Our collaborative process hopes to engage as many stakeholders as possible. We want to make sure we reach all members of the community, and ensure that all voices are heard,” said Superintendent Dr. Paul Enderle. “The feedback we receive will serve as an essential part to the design of a new strategic plan that will guide our school district into the foreseeable future.”

The current District 123 strategic plan was created in 2012 and can be viewed online. To ensure the District receives a diverse set of feedback from the community, a postcard mailer was also sent to all households in the District 123 attendance area. All community participants will have until November 4 to submit their feedback and critical voice to this collaborative process.
