The District 123 Board of Education has released the results of the 2018 Strategic Planning Community Survey on Nov 9, 2018. The community survey is part of a Strategic Planning process that the district is undergoing during the 2018 school year.
“We are overwhelmed by the amount of responses and valuable feedback we received through our Strategic Planning Community Survey. We are glad our collaborative process engaged as many stakeholders as it did,” said Superintendent Dr. Paul Enderle. “The data and feedback that we have received from our community will serve a core component to the design of a new strategic plan that will help us shape our school district’s future path and contribute to the success of all D123 students.”
The survey was open to all community members from Oct 19 through Nov 4. Both electronic and mailed invitations to complete the survey were sent to community members residing within the District 123 boundaries. The community survey was anonymous and gathered a range of perspectives about the hopes and expectations of the community as District 123 works to design a new strategic plan.
More than 650 members of the learning community completed the survey.
- 29% of responses were from community members without children attending D123 schools.
- 53% of responses were from families with children attending D123 schools.
- 20% of responses were from District 123 faculty & staff.
The results from the survey have been summarized in the graphs below.
