Covington Kicks Off Jump Rope for Heart

Last week students at Covington held a kick off assembly for Jump Rope for Heart. The organization focuses on teaching kids how to stay fit and keep their hearts healthy while raising funds for the American Heart Association.

“Jump rope for heart is a great way to teach our students they have a  responsibility to help take care of their community and promoting a better way of life for themselves,” said Amani Abassi, Parent Coordinator.

Packets for the Jump Rope for Heart event and funds are due back on November 15.
