Following an extensive year-long process, the District 123 Board of Education approved the new District 123 Strategic Plan in March 2019.
The strategic plan will help to guide the district through 2024. The March 2019 approval ends the year-long planning process which included collecting input and feedback from the entire Oak Lawn & Hometown communities. Insight and information was gathered through a community-wide survey that received hundreds of responses and targeted focus groups which included family members of all school communities, students, faculty, staff, and even graduates of District 123 now attending area high schools. Additional feedback was received when a draft version of the strategic plan was presented to the community during the 2019 State of the District Dinner on March 15, 2019.
The strategic plan serves as the the culminating document that represents our collective communities hope, aspirations and direction for the district.
